European Commission President Ursula von der
Leyen announced hotly anticipated European
Green Deal on 11 October 2019, and on 11 December she
outlined a long list of policy initiatives to support Green Deal,
including major policy area:

need for a cleaner construction sector
Sustainable mobility - Promoting
more sustainable means of transport

ecosystem
From Farm to Fork - Ways to ensure a more
sustainable food systems
Eliminating
pollution - Measures to cut pollution rapidly and
efficiently
Supported by investments in green technologies,
sustainable solutions and new businesses, the Green Deal can be a new EU growth strategy.
